The Virginia Hotel was constructed in 1909 as a businessman's hotel which was located near the railroad. It was the only hotel in the area until the 1920s when more hotels began operations. In the 1970s the building was being used as a flophouse with a basement bar. In the late 1970s the bar was converted into a restaurant named Wyoming Coffee Company and the hotel portion was converted into office space. The building was used as an annex for county government offices until 2014 when it was renovated into luxury apartments.
